1) My argument the government should not censor the media
I want to argue that government should not censor the media. Today in Korea, the Sewol ferry accident is hot potato. the government said "we will reform all of things about Sewol ferry accident" but they just saying not changed until today. so people blame government on the internet and SNS. so the president of Korea, 박근혜 said "The blame is excessive so need censoring media." so that problem is hot issue in Korea.

2) How I found my argument
First I will find the reasons why the government should not censor the media. these reasons will be key of my essay. may it is all of my essay :)
next I will find the definition of media and the power of media that help me to argue that the media is important thing.
next I will find the history of media. that help me to opinion that the freedom of speech is the right to all of people. and it shows that the censoring media is retrograding order.

3) New research questions
I have several questions that need to be resolved.
a) How can I summarize the history of media
b) How can I define the power of media.
c) How can I find information that is surely true.

4) Connections to the Harvard Sampler
This argument has many connections to the Harvard Sampler. First, it obviously is directly related to the cyberspace. second it connects to evolution because media was made long time ago and changed by developing people.

Out line

1. The introduction

I want my readers to recognize the problem of SeWol ferry accident. So first I will start with some stories about SeWol ferry accident and then I will show the problem of SeWol ferry accident. And then I will show the government didn't do their role moreover the government try to censor the media.

2. The narration

I will show the definition of media and summarized history of media. that will make people think that media is very important thing that should not restraint. And also that make people know why the government try to censor the media. if that narration is insufficiency, then I will write the power of media that I define.

3. The confirmation

I will show some example of countries that censored media. and tell some problem of those countries. that make why the government should not censor the media.

4. The refutation and concession

I'm not concede that the censoring media has good point even some people believe that censoring media can help prevent using the media commercially and prevent using media politically  but without censoring we can prevent these things. People have ability to judge this things.

5. The summation
I will close with a summary of my previous points, and I will write some memorable sentence which make people remember the SeWol ferry accident and reemphasize the importance of media.

What is my current topic?
*Explain the topic you want to research. What do you think your final persuasive essay will be about? Add as much detail as you can*

my topic : Government should not censor the media.
MY final persuasive essay will be about the freedom of speech.  I want to show that why the media is important, the history of media, power of media, SNS. if I can, I want to write some problem and faults of government about Sewol ferry accident.

first, I write why I chose this topic, the background of censoring media policy  and some definition of media include sns, internet. Next why government should not censor the media include some examples.

What are my guiding questions?
*What questions are you curious about? What do you want to know? What questions do you think your reader will have?*

Surely there is the reason why government do censor the media. so I want to know all of things of media, the power, history, role and so on.
I curious about I can do this project without any fault and I wonder that I can understand these things. I don't have enough time to understand so many things ;(
and I really really curious about political inclination. I'm the one who want to be journalist, I have to maintain neutrality but I wonder I can do this.

What are my current thoughts?
*What do you already know about your topic? What are your opinions? What do you want to persuade people of?*

I want to persuade the president, 박근혜 and some member of National Assembly.
I already know about the media can change society that means media have very big power in today. all of people can access every information and people have the  right to speech or blame to government.

What is the opposition?
*What will your opponents say? What is the common belief that you are arguing against? What counterarguments do you anticipate?*

My opponents will say that if government doesn't censor the media, rumors spread especially commercial rumors. and harmful things will wash about internet.
but I think almost people agree my opinion :)

The textbook chapter that is related to this topic : cyber

My dream is to be a journalist. I have very interested in media. Today in Korea, A hot potato is Sewol ferry accident. This accident is not solved yet. The president of Korea, 박근혜 said "I really sad this accident, the ultimate responsibility is me. so I come up with follow-up measures " with tears. after that the government showed the 27 follow-up measures but only 5 measures are in progress. The most important thing, the bereaved family of the deceased are really wanted, is truth ascertainment but still now that is not come out into the open. So many people were angry, rebuked the government and blamed the president, 박근혜. after few days in internet the rumors spread that 박근혜 censor the kakako talk because the blame is immoderate and to blame president is to blame citizens. The rumor left people dumbfounded. so almost people use telegram that government can't see the messages instead of kakao talk.
so I want to know this problem deeply and I want to show the media is very important element of freedom of speech.

my topic : government should not censor the media.
